With Scandinavian design injecting style into areas of cities all around Europe, we were on a hunt to find Nordic design shops which have been established for some time. Before the explosion of interest in our Scandinavian friends and their contemporary, clean cut designs, esppo. had embraced this design concept as something which although streamlined and precise, gave versatility within itself and was coming through as a style which was both relevant and more importantly, in demand.

espoo. was the first interior design shop in Belgium in 2009 that shows some of Scandinavians best design brands in a whole new concept. The roots of espoo. have remained Scandinavian but are now woven with brands from the entire world. A bit further on the road, we opened espoo. bütik in 2013. While espoo. mainly focusses on the furniture- and lighting collections, espoo. bütik shows accessories and carefully selected design objects.

As an interior design- and lifestyle shop, espoo. shows design that brings joy in everyday life. This results in 2 young and pure design shops that are unique by its ease and simplicity; meeting points for the young and old masters of design. We believe in design that tells a story and we carefully select products that last for ages. No nonsense, simple and easygoing. The concept of espoo. was created by a young team, resulting in a new, fresh and pure design store that stands out thanks to its plainness and ease.
